How does the platform work for Creators?
The process of registering and using Contents’ platform is pretty simple:
Phase 1:
1. Create your personal account by selecting the role for which you are applying for: Copywriter, Translator or Proofreader.
2. You will receive a validation email to activate your account.
3. Fill in your personal data, specifying your personal details and the email associated with your PayPal account.
4. Carefully read all the guidelines and select the category you would like to write about.
5. Start your test article: pay attention to the number of words and time!
Phase 2:
1. We will analyse your application as soon as we need it and get back to you with the results.
2. If the application is approved, you will receive an e-mail notification. Then you will have to fill in the data in the registry section and sign the contract.
3. Once all the documents have been validated, you will be able to start writing.
How much do I get paid for each piece of content?
Articles have a variable tariff based on the range of words. The price will always be viewable
before taking charge of each piece of content and you can free to decide when to start writing.
The price displayed refers to the price per item, not per word.
How can I get paid?
Creator Outreach has chosen PayPal to make payments to its freelancers, as it is one of the tools with
the most reliable security protocols for sending and receiving money. Thanks to PayPal, you can
independently check and manage the status of your payments.
Moreover, if you are a resident in the SEPA area, you can choose to receive payments by means of
a bank transfer. In this case, you should send a formal request to [email protected].
What kind of employment contract is concluded?
The contract you will sign is an agreement assigning copyright. This lets you assigning the
publishing rights for articles written on the platform. This is not binding and does not
preclude the possibility of having other external collaborations. Depending on the country of
origin, taxation may apply.
Do I need a VAT number to register as a creator?
No, it is not necessary to have a VAT number to become a creator
I need to issue an invoice, how do I do it?
To issue an invoice send an email with your references to the address [email protected]
Is there a minimum threshold before receiving payment?
As per the regulation, payment is only made for content that reaches the minimum threshold of
€50, 30 days after the end of the month of competence. For example, if you have accrued €50
credit in November, you will be credited in December.
